Times Kuwait reported that the Kuwait real estate market recorded 2541 deals worth 1.64 billion dinars between March and September. The publication drew its figures from statistics issued by the Real Estate Registration and Documentation Department at the Ministry of Justice. Such activity reflected transactions across private residential investment and commercial segments in the seven-month window.

A Kuwait International Bank assessment found that the investment property sector led activity in the first half of 2026 with transactions reaching KD 574.2 million across 655 deals. Fahad Al-Mansour senior real estate analyst at the bank stated that the decline from the prior year did not reflect sector weakness but rather lower values in completed deals. The bank noted that overall real estate activity stayed at healthy levels as the number of deals fell by only 4.7 percent from the year-earlier period.

Arabian Business reported that Kuwait property deal values fell 13 percent year on year to $5.3 billion during the first half of 2026. The outlet cited Alhisba data that placed the transaction count at 2398 in that span. Ministry of Justice figures quoted in the report showed 2373 transactions worth about $5.28 billion for the same timeframe.

Private residential property accounted for 1667 transactions valued at $2.10 billion according to the Ministry of Justice data cited by Arabian Business. Investment assets generated 575 deals worth $1.71 billion in the first half the report added. Commercial property recorded 70 transactions valued at $842 million while industrial properties saw 27 deals worth $178 million.

Earlier data published by Times Kuwait indicated that the market had reached KD 1.01 billion across 1331 deals in the first 112 days of 2026. The private residential sector led volume in that period with 898 transactions worth KD 360.9 million. Investment deals followed with 340 transactions valued at KD 342.7 million the publication reported.

Kuwait’s real estate market closed 2025 with 5093 transactions valued at 4.04 billion dinars according to a separate Times Kuwait report that cited Ministry of Justice statistics. Private housing accounted for 3433 deals or 67.4 percent of the total volume in that full-year tally. The investment sector led by value with 1.55 billion dinars across 1348 transactions the report showed.
