stc Bahrain has signed a strategic agreement with Velents to introduce an exclusive package of innovative digital solutions tailored for the business sector in Bahrain. The partnership focuses on digital agent technology capable of managing intricate operational processes, automating manual workflows and accelerating decision-making. The deal, unveiled on the sidelines of the LEAP 2026 technology conference, extends stc Bahrain’s offerings beyond traditional telecommunications into applied digital automation.

According to the announcement, the collaboration positions stc Bahrain as a leader among regional communications providers delivering institutional automation solutions. It makes advanced AI capabilities practically available to local enterprises seeking to streamline their activities. Hesham Mustafa, chief business officer at stc Bahrain, described the move as a qualitative step forward for the kingdom’s business community.

“Our signing of this agreement with Velents during the LEAP 2026 tech conference is a qualitative step towards making advanced and practical artificial intelligence capabilities available to the business sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain, where we are keen through this initiative to enable local companies and institutions to employ them,” Mustafa said in the statement. The solutions target operational efficiency gains across multiple industries. stc Bahrain has directed the initiative toward clients requiring high-grade automation with regional compliance standards.

Velents, a Saudi startup specializing in enterprise artificial intelligence for recruitment, human resources and broader workflow automation, became the first Arab company to join Anthropic’s global Claude Partner Network in June 2026. A Zawya report detailed that its tools have delivered an 88 percent reduction in operational costs, an 80 percent acceleration in screening public sector job applications and a 94 percent accuracy rate in analysis. The company maintains a presence across Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain, Jordan and Oman, with deployments in government ministries and major banks.

The agreement forms part of stc Bahrain’s broader strategy to evolve into a full-spectrum digital enabler, following similar partnerships with UiPath for robotic process automation announced in September and Cloudflare for cybersecurity services. These steps have diversified the operator’s managed services and opened new revenue channels in enterprise and public sectors. stc Group, the parent entity, supports such expansions to align with digital transformation demands across its markets.

Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030 has prioritized digital innovation and technology adoption to drive economic diversification, according to government planning documents. stc Bahrain’s latest initiative contributes to that framework by introducing AI solutions that address growing enterprise needs for productivity and cost control. The partnership also reinforces the kingdom’s role as a regional hub for technology deployment in the Gulf.
