If no licence data can be found within the specified search period and municipal records show no previous violation notices, the municipality directs beneficiaries to the “Correct Existing Building Status” service on the Baladi platform. Following the correction of any structural or regulatory violations identified during review, a construction licence will be issued without the imposition of penalties. The municipality emphasised that these procedures are intended to resolve the status of longstanding buildings, simplify services for residents and increase overall compliance with municipal rules.
