The Professional Regulation Commission released the results of the August and September 2026 Nurses Licensure Examination six days after the final testing window closed. According to the commission, 28,652 candidates passed for an overall rate of 76.69 percent while results for 21 examinees were withheld pending further review of their liabilities under examination rules. The PRC conducted the test through its Board of Nursing in 26 centers spread across the country.
Dianne Tacazon Tolentino of the University of Northern Philippines-Vigan achieved the highest rating of 92.20 percent, a PRC assessment found. Clifford Jay Patoc Cafe of Ateneo de Davao University followed with 92 percent while Lee Chen Padilla Ducusin of Lorma College scored 91.80 percent. Multiple candidates tied for subsequent places with ratings ranging from 91.60 percent to 90.40 percent.
The Board of Nursing that administered the examination consisted of chairperson Hon. Leah Primitiva S. Paquiz along with members Hon. Elsie A. Tee, Hon. Zenaida C. Gagno, Hon. Mary Grace C. Lacanaria, Hon. Mila Delia M. Llanes, Hon. Merle L. Salvani and Hon. Josefina A. Tuazon. Testing occurred on August 29 and 30 as well as September 11 and 12 in sites including Metro Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and additional provincial locations. The PRC announcement detailed that the full roll of successful examinees along with school performance data would be published on its official channels.
Successful candidates will begin online registration for Professional Identification Cards and Certificates of Registration on October 13, the commission said in its announcement. Each registrant must present a screenshot of the system-generated form together with a valid government-issued ID and personally sign the Roster of Registered Professionals. Instructions for the process are available on the PRC website.
