Linjemontage completed its initial public offering on Nasdaq Stockholm with shares priced at SEK 46 and first trading taking place on September 25 2026 according to an announcement from ABG Sundal Collier which served as sole global coordinator and joint bookrunner. The offering consisted entirely of existing shares sold by current owners including majority holder Kalpataru Power Transmission Sweden AB and raised approximately SEK 658 million on the base deal with the potential to reach SEK 757 million if the over-allotment option is exercised. It attracted strong interest from both institutional investors and the Swedish public and was several times oversubscribed resulting in more than 5500 new shareholders being added to the register. Cornerstone investors Tredje AP-fonden and Unionen committed to acquire shares worth a combined SEK 290 million.

Kalpataru Power Transmission Sweden AB which held more than 96 percent of the shares before the offering will retain a majority stake following the transaction as the Indian parent company listed in Bombay seeks to unlock value while continuing to support the business. Linjemontage contributed over 11 percent of its parent’s consolidated revenue in the latest fiscal year and maintained an order book of SEK 4.3 billion as of mid-2026 company disclosures show. The IPO proceeds will flow to the selling shareholders rather than the company itself.
Baker McKenzie served as legal advisor to Linjemontage in connection with the IPO the company confirmed in its offering materials. ABG Sundal Collier led the banking syndicate while Pareto Securities and BAHR Advokatbyrå also participated alongside Grant Thornton Sweden in various advisory capacities. The shares were admitted to trading under the ticker LMGAB in the Mid Cap segment of Nasdaq Stockholm subject to meeting liquidity requirements.
The listing is expected to boost the company’s visibility credibility and brand recognition among customers partners and employees according to statements released by Linjemontage. Operations span around 20 locations in Sweden and Norway with additional offices in Croatia and a new presence in India where the firm employs more than 400 people. The move aligns with broader European demand for grid infrastructure upgrades driven by electrification and renewable integration though specific market projections were not detailed in the IPO announcements.
Nasdaq Stockholm’s admission notice confirmed the effective trading start date of September 25 2026 following regulatory approval of the prospectus by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority earlier in the month. The offering period for both retail and institutional investors ran from September 17 through September 24 2026. Linjemontage described the IPO as a natural progression in its development trajectory that builds on more than 30 years of experience in Nordic power infrastructure projects.
