LexisNexis Middle East said in a statement that it had rolled out the Lexis Middle East Bilingual platform built specifically for the Saudi jurisdiction to merge authoritative Arabic and English legal content. Users gain the ability to search Saudi laws and regulations in Arabic, consult practitioner-written practical guidance and review documents from Saudi regulators. The single interface allows seamless transitions between legislation, guidance and legal news. The company positioned the tool as a means to deliver quicker and more assured analysis in Saudi Arabia’s bilingual legal environment.

The announcement noted that the platform operates on the infrastructure of Lexis+ UK. It targets legal professionals who must navigate both local Arabic sources and English translations or interpretations common in cross-border matters. Such capabilities respond to operational demands that have intensified with the Kingdom’s growing international legal activity.

Ken Research data places the Saudi Arabia legal services market at 5.9 billion dollars in 2025 with an outlook for expansion to 10.5 billion dollars by 2031 at a compound annual growth rate of 11.75 percent. This trajectory reflects increased volumes of joint ventures, regulatory compliance work and foreign investment structuring. The resulting workload has heightened requirements for research platforms that consolidate multilingual resources.

A Grand View Research assessment projected Saudi Arabia to achieve the highest compound annual growth rate within the Middle East and Africa legal artificial intelligence market from 2025 to 2030 when that segment reaches 121.5 million dollars at an 18 percent pace. Legal technology uptake has gained momentum across the GCC as firms handle more complex transactions. The new bilingual offering aligns with this shift by eliminating the need to alternate between separate language databases.

Analyses from industry observers link these technology introductions to digitisation drives by the Saudi Ministry of Justice that support broader national transformation objectives. The ministry has advanced electronic systems to modernise legal procedures and improve access across the sector. LexisNexis Middle East stated that its platform contributes to streamlined workflows for law firms and in-house teams operating under these conditions.

The company release added that the tool incorporates legal news feeds within the same environment as primary research materials. This consolidation enables practitioners to maintain awareness of regulatory updates without exiting the application. The feature addresses practical constraints in a market undergoing continuous evolution of its commercial legal framework.
