The transaction unites the PRODIR and SENATOR brands to create one of the leading groups in the European promotional writing instruments sector while ensuring each retains its distinct identity market positioning and customer relationships.
Senator will operate as an independent brand within the Pagani Pens Group with its own product portfolio and commercial approach the joint announcement stated. Pagani Pens SA headquartered in Cadempino Switzerland and its German subsidiary Prodir GmbH will maintain existing customer ties products and services for both lines. The Swiss company which has specialized in writing instruments since 1961 brings its focus on innovation sustainability and vertical integration across European facilities to complement Senator’s Made in Germany manufacturing strengths.

The combined entity now controls in-house production capabilities in both Switzerland and Germany spanning development component manufacturing assembly and personalization.
The acquisition follows Pagani Pens’ earlier consolidation moves including the 2017 combination of Prodir and Premec under its umbrella which expanded its portfolio to include additional brands such as Pigra and Granborgo.
