Pagani Pens SA headquartered in Cadempino Switzerland and its German subsidiary Prodir GmbH will maintain existing customer ties products and services for both lines. The Swiss company which has specialized in writing instruments since 1961 brings its focus on innovation sustainability and vertical integration across European facilities to complement Senator’s Made in Germany manufacturing strengths.

PRODIR and SENATOR complement each other perfectly both in terms of their market positioning and their corporate cultures.” Rossana Porotti Alessio Marotta and Tom de Kleyn from Pagani Pens emphasized in the statement that the deal safeguards employment and builds a platform for long-term growth innovation and international expansion for both brands.

Daniel Jeschonowski managing director of Senator GmbH noted that the partnership aligns with shared values of quality and customer focus while ensuring the production site and brand continue to develop. Julia Kappel-Gnirs the insolvency administrator described the outcome as an exceptionally positive result for employees creditors the region and the brand’s long-term prospects crediting collaboration among all parties. She highlighted the loyalty of customers and suppliers alongside staff commitment as key factors that enabled the swift transition to a strategic investor.

Baker McKenzie advised Pagani Pens SA on the acquisition of the assets of the insolvent Senator GmbH handling legal aspects ranging from restructuring and corporate matters to employment intellectual property and antitrust considerations. The law firm deployed a cross-practice team across its German offices to support the transaction according to its own announcement. The combined entity now controls in-house production capabilities in both Switzerland and Germany spanning development component manufacturing assembly and personalization.

The acquisition follows Pagani Pens’ earlier consolidation moves including the 2017 combination of Prodir and Premec under its umbrella which expanded its portfolio to include additional brands such as Pigra and Granborgo. Industry announcements indicate the deal positions the group for stronger competitiveness in the promotional products market by leveraging complementary strengths in design volume production and sustainability. No further financial terms of the asset purchase were disclosed in the public statements.
